British built hundreds of Victorian style building as a part of never fading glory of British Empire. However, Yangon became a disastrous city during World War II when Japanese attacked and bombed the Burma's capital in 1941. Time has changed a lot but today Yangon still houses the largest number of Victorian-style buildings in Southeast Asia. Our hotel is located just 5 minutes walk from one of the most famous colonial building, Ministries office, where our national hero, father of Aung San Su Kyi was assassinated.
